Before the Storm
Stock up at the start of the season with at least five days worth of supplies per person.

Locate your nearest shelter to ensure a safe place to go during the storm.
Stay informed by signing up for Broward's Emergency Alert Notification System.
The FEMA app allows you to receive real-time weather alerts, locate shelters, prepare for hazards and more.
Pre-register for a Special Needs Shelter if you require medical or personal assistance during emergencies.
