Lieutenant Al Rengifo

January 21, 1973 – August 16, 2020

Lieutenant Al Rengifo served BSO and the people of Broward County for more than 20 years. Lieutenant Rengifo began his career with the Broward Sheriff's Office in January 2000 and was promoted to sergeant on November 28, 2015, and then to lieutenant on June 8, 2019. His most recent assignment was the Youth and Neighborhood Services Bureau. He was dedicated to service and committed to our agency and communities. He epitomized the type of law enforcement officer we should all strive to become. He held himself to the highest standards and took pride in his work. He led with honor, dignity, and integrity and projected a positive and professional image upon himself and BSO.
